 Carleton Sheets has grown to be an infamous late night infomercial Guru. He mainly focuses on “NO Money Down” real estate, and for over 20 years, he has claimed that he can teach anyone how to buy and sell property using this strategy. Carleton pushes his course on T.V. and the web, and he has made a lot of money from it. As with most guru’s, Carleton makes most of his money from selling his products, and not from following his own advice.

 Carleton Sheets became a full time investor in 1970. With no money, and very little support, he began investing in real estate using what is known today as creative financing techniques. Today with partners or individually, Carleton has bought and sold over 20 million dollars worth of income producing real estate.

 The hottest training manual written by Carleton Sheets is indeed his “No Money Down” real estate guide. He suggests a trial version for only 10 dollars. The low price drives people to check it out. If you decide not to keep this system, you need to send it back within the first month, otherwise you will be charged 3 payments of about 70.00 dollars as if you were going to keep it. I personally do not believe that 1 month is enough time to apply Carleton’s techniques, and judge if this course is worth the full price or if it is not.

 In my opinion Carleton Sheets system would not be for most people. It has been said that “No Money Down” is an extremely difficult way to buy property. Also most of what he is selling, can be found for free on the internet. Just do your research thoroughly on this one, and make your own decision. It may or may not work for you. I would just be wary of what Carleton Sheets is trying to sell you, and make sure I cannot find it for free somewhere else first.
