 Gary Halbert was better known as the “Prince of Print.” He was known as one of the best copywriters in the game. All of Gary’s publications are free, and they are all over the web. His views are unique and they have a special way of drawing you into the article. His newsletters are well crafted, in fact a lot of people do not even realize that they are being offered products that earn Gary money, or should I say earned Gary money.

 Gary Halbert passed away on April the 8^th in 2007. Apparently he passed away in his sleep, so at least there was no pain or suffering. Some people believe that Gary left behind one of the most profound legacies in direct marketing. His ideas continue to influence great copywriters around the globe.

 In the 1980’s Gary Halbert started the “Gary Halbert Letter” which he charged quite a bit of money for, after giving away a lot of material on his website. This did not affect his readers, as they were willing to pay a lot to read his stuff. It has been stated that you could combine some of Gary’s letters with your own contents, and you would have a 1^st class ad copy.

 Also according to many sources, Gary Halbert served time in jail for improper business practices. Supposedly he didn’t fulfill his orders. I don’t think anyone knows the whole truth on this story other than Gary Halbert himself. This did not stop one of the greatest marketers of all time in many peoples opinion, Jay Abraham, from inviting him to speak at a few seminars.

 With all this being said I believe a lot of Gary’s works could help a lot of people promoting their business. I know he may have had a few skeleton’s in his closet, but who hasn’t had. In my opinion if his mistakes didn’t stop Jay from having him speak at his seminars, then he couldn’t have been that bad. Just do some research on him, you can find it on the web, and it is free I hear. Maybe you can find some of his works to help you in some way or another.
